Darra State School is excited to be receiving an $11.5 million upgrade to our facilities with a new multi-story building for classrooms, music room and offices.
The school will also receive an upgrade to our covered area, connecting our existing undercover area to the Admin Block.
Construction is set to commence in late June 2023 with a planned finish date in mid 2024.
While the school will experience some disruption, this will be worth it for the long-term gain for our school.
The new build will consist of 3 classrooms, toilets, offices and multi-use spaces, a music room and music rehearsal space. The new covered area will be significantly larger than our current undercover space and also include a new half-basketball court.
