Ms Lauren Metyard - Guidance Officer
As part of our commitment to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, we have a dedicated Guidance Officer (GO) who play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and educational development of our students.
Our GO work closely with students, teachers, parents, and the wider school community to ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive. From offering counselling to helping students manage their emotions, develop positive relationships, and make informed decisions, our GO is here to assist at every step.
With their expertise in child development and mental health, our guidance officers conduct assessments, create personalised support plans, and implement effective intervention strategies for students facing challenges. They collaborate with teachers and parents to foster a safe and inclusive environment where every student can reach their full potential.
