Promoting Wellbeing Through Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

At our school, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is integral to our curriculum, aligning with the Australian Curriculum (Personal and Social capability) and promoting student wellbeing. SEL equips students with vital skills such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.

Through the Switch4Schools program, we explicitly teach emotional intelligence though structured lessons and activities tailored to each class. This comprehensive program not only supports academic achievement but also enhances students' resilience, and interpersonal skills.

Through SEL, we empower students to navigate challenges effectively, cultivate positive relationships, and actively contribute to their community.
